|In our last North to Lima, we mentioned about sand in the road. We are not next to the coast, but there is still lots of sand. The biggest sand dune in the world is near the Nasca Lines. |
In these photos, we came around a corner and found this truck stuck. Apparently it had tried to go around a pile of sand and got stuck! While the scraper was trying to clear the road, we noticed that next to us the sand was falling just about as quickly as he was clearing. Ed noticed it wouldn´t take much for the whole shelf to break loose and fall! Thanks for sharing!
